Capabilities Statement of Express Healthcare, LLC

Established by Jamal Fadul, MD in June of 2003, Express Healthcare’s cardinal priority has been and will always be to serve our community’s health and well-being. Before the COVID-19 pandemic began, Express Healthcare offered a wide scope of Urgent Care services to a community of patients from diverse backgrounds. With more than 30 qualified and experienced providers, including MD physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners, Express Healthcare has provided hundreds of thousands of visits to our patients throughout almost two decades of service to a growing community. Express Healthcare has served in several locations throughout Maryland including College Park (MD), New Carrollton (MD), Berwyn Heights (MD), Vienna (VA), and Falls Church (VA). As an Urgent Care walk-in facility, Express Healthcare is open 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

At the outset of the COVID-19 pandemic, our team instantly tackled this healthcare crisis and the apparent need for timely RT-PCR testing without any hesitation or fear. We have established strong, reliable relationships with the City of College Park, the City of Berwyn Heights, the Town of University Park, the Town of New Carrollton, as well as the University of Maryland’s Global Campus. With the support and lab resources of MedPed Healthcare, our team was capable of delivering timely results (within 6-24 hours) to patients, at mass volumes. Our goal is to quell the dissemination of COVID-19 in our communities and beyond.

We are expanding to do RT-PCR testing for STD panel, Upper respiratory panel, CBC, and other tests that are being added. There is x-ray and ultrasound equipment in 3 of our locations. We are also capable of providing mobile testing stations per demand to serve our patients at their sites.

Since the start of the pandemic, we have been devoted to providing the best care for our patients which has involved delivering quick results, educating our patients and staff, and distributing PPE. We consider this our duty as front line workers against this pandemic. We are proud to have never turned away a single patient due to lack of insurance, ability to pay, etc. We are also proud of our team with no incidents of contamination at the lab nor to our staff. We are continuing to prepare for the worst and hope for the best because that is our responsibility as first responders to this healthcare crisis.
